September - Week 1Ensure that all of your work in available to be viewed over the coming week. Remember you should have (as a minimum, evidence of:
- Artist Research
- Fashion Designer Research
- Textile Designer research
- An online record of the above areas of research
- An online visual diary of your primary research in response to the above -
- Photographs, drawings, sketches etc
- Written annotation on each piece of work
By the end of the first week all of your ideas need to be taking shape. You have two sketchbooks.
Your main sketchbook should show evidence of:The key finding of the above information. Do not just place all of your secondary research in it. Show what sources you have used, then you must show your own personal response and development of the work.
Your additional sketchbook - a visual and written diary of your progress
May contain evidence of secondary research, with annotation explaining your thoughts and ideas, how you are progressing on a daily basis with your project. This should then lead nicely into your blogspot.
Your blogspotThis is imperitive this year. Take a look back at the succesful blogs last year. you need to start adding to it immediatley, it should look like a visual and written diary of what you are doing, why you are doing it, the influences that are leading you. It should not just be a repetition of what you have done, or photographs of what you have done. It needs to have meaning and be responsive to your work.
